  62. Dr. Peter Bakonyi has been the driving force behind the Information
  63. Infrastructure project of Hungary, started in the mid eighties. In
  64. the framework of this project the first computer communication
  65. infrastructure  for Hungary was developed.  Peter Bakonyi played
  66. an important role in the opening and in the integration to the
  67. western networking infrastructure and organizations.  He is a
  68. manager who understands the need of changes in a changing world. 
  69. Peter Bakonyi is vice-president of the Hungarnet, the Hungarian 
  70. national networking organisation.  He played an important role in
  71. the success  of the Central and East European session of the
  72. INET'92 conference in Kobe.
